Last year we had our busiest ever year and a big thank you to all our guests particularly those who have written comments on Trip Advisor which has certainly helped.  There have been many times we've had to turn people away as we were full so if you know when you want to visit the area please don't leave it too late to make your booking.

The garden birds are working their way through lots of bird food and giving both our guests and us plenty of entertainment working out the 'pecking order'.  The woodpecker is definately at the top but all the others eventually get their turn.  At least 15 different species are frequent visitors.  We had a very rare treat in June when a buzzard sat in a tree in the garden for about 15 minutes.

Over the winter we redecorated the en-suite in the bedroom with the balcony and changed the shower so that it runs from the water heated by the solar panels which are working well now we are seeing some more sun.

The double room hasn't been left out and it has a new bed and headboard and new oak wardrobe, chest of drawers and bedside chests.
