We had a lovely Christmas and New Year and hope you did too and we would like to wish everyone a happy and prosperous 2010.

Last year we had our busiest ever year and a big thank you to all of our guests particularly those who have written comments on Trip Advisor which has certainly helped.  There have been many times we've had to turn people away as we were full so if you know when you want to visit the area please don't leave it too late to make your booking.

The garden birds are working their way through lots of bird food and giving both our guests and us lots of entertainment working out the 'pecking order'.  The woodpecker is definately at the top but all the others eventually get their turn.  At least 10 different species are frequent visitors.

We are busy decorating the en-suite in the bedroom with the balcony and changing the shower so that it runs from the water heated by the solar panels.  There's not much we can do in the garden at the moment except plan for later in the year.  Once we can get outside there will certainly be plenty to do.
